Mac Pro - waking up from the sleep

when i put my macpro desktop to sleep then turn it on again...it take a little while...few seconds delay....harddrive takes a while to spin up

this did not happen when i bought the computer few months ago...

anyone know why?...can i speed up the harddrive more quickly to get going? or what is the cause of the delay

Installed programs, running applications, hard drive usage, all will contribute to some delay when coming out of sleep mode. It's normal, leave it be. Don't try to fix something that isn't broken.
