Replacing An iMac G3 Battery

My iMac no longer has the proper time and date when it starts up. I've done a little research on how to replace the battery myself but before I begin I thought I would ask here and see if anyone has any tips for me about what to expect. And also, where is the best place to buy a replacement battery?
