    is this a good buy?
    I am an VIDEO editor, and at the moment i am getting alot of work, so i am upgrading to a new mac, (had a imac)
    i use final cut studio, after effects

    will you tell me if this is a good buy

    Two 3.2GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    4gb ram
    1tb for hard drive 1
    1tb for hard drive 2
    2 x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256MB (not sure what graphics card to get i have 2 23inch APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY)
    AirPort Extreme Card (Wi-Fi

    In my opinion yes. I love my MBP. A friend of mine does allot with video and final cut and he loves his MBP for it.

    ^I don't know what a mbp has to do with his question, but yes, I think the hardware you have described will be great for video editing.

    Those graphic cards are fine.
