I keep my little CPU usage viewer up all the time so I can see how loaded my computer is. Today, as was doing a whole lot of nothing, I noticed my CPU bars going full blast....with nothing intense going on.
I open up my activity monitor and there's an Process called sshd that's using all of my CPU. I close out of it, and 5 minutes later it's back up and doing the same thing...what's the dealio? |

Go into system preferences, sharing and turn off remote login. See if that keeps it from coming back.
