iMac - Sound Quality Problem, Please Help

So right now the sound quality is just awful I can barely listen to music. I tried to: -turn on/off the equalizer on iTunes -listen to music thru other players (VLC, Quicktime and Real Player) -Restarting computer -Listening to music thru headphones Nothing worked  Please help |
