    Lightbulb Current Mac Pro
This might be a newbie question but I just wanted to be sure I don't blow up my Mac Pro.

    I just ordered: iRam (2x2Gb) DDR2 667 memory kit.

A friend of mine is telling me that Mac Pro's use DDR2 800 memory. So am I going to blow up my Mac Pro if I stick these instead of the 2 x 512mb kit currently installed?

    Much Thanks

Yes, the current Mac Pro uses DDR2 800 RAM. Don't put in DDR2 667 RAM!

See this page from Crucial for compatible RAM. You can of course get this RAM from lots of other places, but since I bought an upgrade from Crucial I know that this stuff meets the requirements.
