idvd burn time

Hi all, i have had my imac g4 for 6months now and i have just burnt my first idvd movie. it was a 1hour footage from my camcorder but it took 2and half hours to burn, is this the normal duration, i did ad music from itunes lib before burning.
any ideas

Yep that is normal...The burn time is really not that long but the time rendering it into MPEG4 does take a long time.

I burn 4 minute slideshows and it usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour the first burn

Don't forget to use the new User Reputation System
