McBie has a spectacular aura about
Mac Specs: MBP 17" - 10.6.2
Last week in the airport of Copenhagen one of the flight crew was using a macbook when they were waiting for their plane for a changeover of crews.

The only thing that was missing was a T-shirt for the captain saying " Powered by Mac OS X "

Mac Specs: 2006 macbook, 2009 mac mini
fox news/ apple

Looks like the foxnews anchors are using macs. Big bright apple logo is clear. Wonder if they have some aggrement or just chose macs. I think its an add because otherwise I think they would cover the bright apple light so as not to be distracting.

Probably some kind of agreement, as there are many, many tv shows that use macs onscreen, but you never see the logo. I watch laptops and computers in commercials/television shows for signs of potential Mac.

I usually pick out what mac they're using in those commercials too. Of course, on Fox News... That kind of makes me want to vomit. But at least Colbert is using his MacBook Pro too. The whole media war is ridiculous, but Fox news in insane. Denying outright that they plant their own news seeds. "We only host news programming from 9am-4pm and 6pm-8pm." So the weird "opinion programming" that they plant seeds with all day with Fox and Friends in the morning and their other insane anchors like Beck and O'Reilly get to plant these seeds for ideas about "tea parties" and all sorts of other ridiculousness, then the actual "news anchors" get to report and say, "Some people are saying exactly what our opinion programmers are saying!" Totally news.

I pick it out. And on tv shows? I cheer when someone's old laptop gets broken and they upgrade to a Mac. One incident comes to mind where a guy's prized laptop was destroyed in a car wreck and he replaced it with an MBP. Only issue there? After he made the switch, they referred to it as a Windows laptop--he complained that his brother got it infected with viruses from a porn site.

I tend to notice most movies, tv shows, commercials having macs...

it was part of what made me want to switch, in all honestly.

though a lot of the time i notice they shop out the apple logo, but you can still see what it really is

Alton Brown uses a Mac laptop with two external screens on the "Iron Chef America" show (baller). The people in the show "Bones" use Macs.

At the beginning of this yr (2009) when I started saving up for my mac, I'd lie on the sofa in the night times while Mom was watching The Apprentice on TV, and I'd see some people with aluminum MacBook Pros.

And this past summer at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, I'd see a guy with a black MacBook in the little cafe sitting with his girlfriend. And one of my friends has an imac (first saw it after she brought it last yr at the end of Dec. 2008) - her husband's a medical doctor, and she and her husband both own/use the imac.
