Honestly, I could care less if I receive it today - I probably won't even use it until Monday at work (and I already have a decent BT mouse there). What I'm worried about is that this will get "lost" in shipment, and then I'll have to argue with Apple.
Look on the bright side...at least it's only a new mouse...I would be much more upset if it were a new 8-core Mac Pro!!!

Yep and CWA I know the feeling, I have gave up on fedex, if a company only allows me to use fedex I cancel my order. Out of all the orders between me and my folks we have only gotten 2 boxes through fedex. So does anyone have any experience with DHL?

It's a vicious circle. People complain, they "don't harm" corporations to make up for it, there are increased prices and restrictions to recoup loses and the circle starts again. People need to put the logic behind their actions to better use to stop the circle from continuing.

Apparently DHL is no longer doing express service in this country. What remains of DHL is now a "postal solutions" provider. They work in tandem with the USPS.
On a side note, the Mighty Mouse showed up today. The lady rang the bell at about 2:15, tag in hand as if she expected no one to answer - or to prove that she had actually had tags. I know she didn't, since FedEx corporate admitted that there had been no tag scans.
Low and behold, the invoice was taped on the back with an Apple logo showing plainly. Based on the size and heft of the box, it could have easily been an iPod - call me paranoid, but I believe I was right on the money with my suspicions. She offered no apologies, just made her delivery like I hadn't had words with the manager and the manager hadn't been in direct contact with her.
And I had a very vicious nasty gram ready to send to FedEx corporate should the delivery have failed. It's a pity I won't get to use it!
Anyway, the Magic Mouse is pretty sweet. Much larger than my Logitech m555b, which I've found to be just a bit too small. The MM fits my hand well and seems intuitive thus far. I'll do a thorough write up on the M-F Blog after I've had some time to get a solid impression.

Sweet, glad you finally got it! On the bright side, now you get to have a nice little Saturday testing out the functionality of your new Magic Mouse. I'l be sure to read that review when you post it to the blog, looking forward to it, cwa107!
On the DHL question, 3-4 years ago I bought a used PowerMac G3 Blue & White to mess with. It was shipped from the Ebay seller DHL. It took forever then finally showed. The driver threw it hard on my front porch! It cracked the one side with the Apple Logo. Ruined it's looks. I ran right out there to confront the driver and he ran and got in the truck took off FAST!

My experience with DHL is awesome.
Both my deliveries through Amazon, and having paid the express post i tracked both orders and they arrived in 4 1/2 days.

The driver even rang me a hour out from the delivery time to make sure i was there or to work out a alternate time or if she could put it somewhere securely
