Unhappy Asus WL-500GP and USB hard disk

I wonder if someone can help me?
A few months ago I bought an Asus WL-500GP router, the one with two usb connections.
I also bought a LACIE 320G USB hard disk to connect to this router.
I have an iMac G5 PPC and a Macbook with Intel and I want to acces the USB hard disk content using network neighborhood.
In both computers I can see the hard drive, I can copy files from the USB hard drive to computers but when I try to copy anything from the Macs to the USB hard drive it says that some contents were not copied because the user does not have enough permissions.
Any idea?

Thanxx
