iMac and n router

I have an I Mac with OSX 10.4.11. Is it possible to connect it wirelessly to a Range Max dual band n-router? My Mac has an airport card, but I haven,t been able to connect. Thanks, John

As it turns out, the airport card was bad. It now connects to a Rangemax WNDR3300 with no problem.
