How do I connect my iBook to wifi?

I pulled my old iBook out of the closet and hope to use it at school. How can I connect it to the campus' wifi? Is it possible? What type of wifi card?

I've been taking my bulky hp laptop with the 19inch screen but it's just too big to be lugging around and was hoping it'd be possible to take my tiny iBook.

I haven't used the iBook in about 3 years but when it was connected at home, I just had it connected with an ethernet cable. Nothing special. Any help would be appreciated.

Mac OSX v 10.2.8
Memory 384
Processor: 800 MHz PowerPC G3
machine model iBook (version = 2.2)

Thanks

Rick

You just need to install an Airport card.

I appreciate that you took the time to respond. I was reading around and everytime I saw an Airport card referenced, it included some type of base station. I wouldn't need anything like that, right? Is there a specific kind of airport card I need for this iBook? Thanks again.

No you don't need a base station, just a wireless router.
As Bob has highlighted, plenty of cards around.
