Question leaving the house with Airport Express

I have a wireless home network using an Airport Extreme. I recently purchased an Airport Express to extend that network to weaker-signal areas of the house and use the Airtunes feature on a stereo. I had no trouble connecting the Express to my existing home Extreme network. There is no ethernet cable into the Express, it is merely tapped into my wireless network.

My question is, how can I unplug the Express and take it along with me to a hotel or a family members house to use it as a wireless station to broadcast a signal? I'm guessing that just unplugging it, re-plugging it in somewhere, plugging an ethernet cable into it won't work as easily as it sounds.

Thanks for any help.
