Well from what i understand and have read from others is it will work, but people have had crashes and lost all there data.
Breaking the EULA is if you do do it you are breaking the regulations and the law and if need be or they want to if your caught Apple can take you to court and charge you for using there software unwilfully in a way it was not meant to be used.
