My Mactracker application only shows the early 2009 Mini which it states can only accept 4 GB of memory. However, if OWC specifically states that they have an 8 GB kit for the late 2009 mini, then it must be so. (OWC are Mac specialists and should know.)

Having said that, why do you think you would need 8 GB of memory? What do you intend to do with the mini? Unless you're into graphic design or some other memory intensive work, (in that case you wouldn't buy a mini) 4 GB of memory should be more than enough.
