I joined this board mainly to ask this, I recently managed to get a mean deal on a G4 "Digital Audio" and have installed a fresh copy of Tiger on it, I have also managed to get OS9 running under classic from an old hard drive I have from a dead G3, But I need a real OS9 install, Not a virtualized install.
I was wondering if anyone here knows how to install it without having to fall back to something that barely works (B&W, Dead IDE controller)
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Tried using the retail OS9 install disk.
Specs:
CPU: listed on back G4 733Mhz, Has CPU upgrade, 1Ghz.
RAM: 786MB
Graphics: GeForce 2MX 32MB, AGP
Airport: Card Present
DVD Drive: Original
Firmware: Unsure
Not sure if it matters, But the monitor is the Apple Studio Monitor, I think 17"
Again, If anyone can tell me anything about how to do this it would be appreciated.
