I am very sure you will get lots of responds to this.
Here is what I think
The Leopard 10.5.5 only works with the new UNIBODY macbook/macbook pro.
I could be wrong, but that's what I learned when I reloaded a Macbook Pro unibody 2.4ghz. It needs ONLY 10.5.5, won't work with anything else.
Why? the new macbook/macbook pro laptops use the new NVIDIA 9400/9600 video card and other components
that require different drivers than the older macbook/macbook pro.
You will need 10.5 or 10.5.2 or 10.5.6 to do a fresh install on the 2007 macbook.
About scrolling. I know in Leopard, you can do 2 finger scrolling on the trackpad.
Check the preferences for the trackpad for "click/drag and 2 finger options".
HAVE FUN!!

1) It's running 10.4.11 and it has all his stuff on the HD still. That being said, what I want to do is delete and wipe the hard drive clean and make it start brand new like it just came from Apple. The only restore discs I have are newer leopard 10.5.5 I believe. How do I about doing this, and will it work?
2) I know theres still many preferences I have to get used to and modify, but one that's really bothering me is that I can't hold down the down arrow and scroll down a page. (web, word, anything!) Instead it only lets me tap the down arrow over and over again to get there. Any ideas?
thanks guys, I hope I'll enjoy my mac experience
