Hi all
I've heard similar problems of Macbooks not charging but I think this instance is different. My mac had been charging fine until a week or so ago. Recently the LED light hasnt corresponded to the state in which it is charging. For example it could be on 50 percent battery but the LED light is green.
This I could live with but only yesterday the LED began to flicker and the cord began to fail. If I positioned it in certain ways it would stay on or if I sat with it pressed into the AC port for a whle then let it go it would charge ok. Now it simply fails to charge at all. My macbook sits useless awaiting technical support next week.
My question is, is this likely a problem with the logic board or does it sound more like a problem with the AC port itself? I know it's not the cable as I have tested another and with the same result.
Any advice welcome. Thanks
