Mac Specs: 20" iMac C2D 2.16ghz, 13" MacBook 2.0ghz, 60gb iPod vid, 1gb nano
If your iPod is formatted for powerbook (when you plug it in does it show an iPod on the desktop or a white hd icon?) then you can't connect it to your PC. If it is PC formatted then you can connect it to download the music but be sure to turn off Autosync otherwise you will lose all of the music that isn't on the iPod
