Mine runs at about the same temperature as Barbanette. It's been on my lap for about 2 hours now. Running a mix of Mail, FF3, Preview, Cyberduck and Adium. Right now, the reading is 83 degrees Farenheit at the bottom of the case.

Even my original Yonah/Core Duo MacBook Pro ran pretty cool. I think it has a lot to do with how they apply the thermal compound at the factory. It's been found to be overzealous on certain machines.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
