Well... I was sitting in my ICT class today and went to push the home button on my iPhone to see what time it was... it didn't turn on. I pressed the 'on/off' button at the top.. still nothing... i had charged it that night so it was fully charged so I was worrying incase it was broken or something. So i reset it (using a one of my earrings) and still... completely dead. So I came home to see if i had maybe not had the charger plug in right and the battery was dead, i put the iPhone in its dock and it came on, fully charged. the screen went off (as usual after a few seconds) and when i pressed the home button again (still plugged in) it did the same thing it did in my ICT class- dead again...
Ive done a restore on it and it seems to be working ok...
My main worry is that its a hardware problem.. Its still under the 1 year warranty but i haven't kept the receipt or anything.. will they charge me extra just to fix it even though it hasn't even been out in the UK for a year so its obvious that its still under warranty? Or is it just a problem with the latest update? (installed 1.1.3 the night it was released)
so um... anyone got any clues to why this happened or anything? :/ its not even 3 months old yet...
iReplaced a PC.
