If it has drivers for OS X, you should be fine with the USB dongle. But my personal thoughts are to go out and get the AirPort card on eBay or somewhere. It attaches to an antenna that wraps around the LCD for a better signal. I don't know if those dongles can compete with that sort of thing.

you should listen to bryphotoguy this guy knows his stuff ...I have a g3 ibook too and no wireless card...you need an original airport card my friend
