Slydude is offline
If you have a TV with HDMI handy you don't need to connect to the Mac. You can make all changes using the Apple TV and the included remote. You could, of course, also pair a Bluetooth keyboard to the Apple TV and use it to make the changes.

This video should get you started. During the setup process you'll need to have the following information about your network.

1. Network name, type of security and password if wireless
2. Type of IP address (DHCP or Static)
3. Range of IP addresses.
