Replacing the hard drive in an iMac is not a task for beginners. If you still wish to go that route, check out OWC. Mac specialists with great after sales and warranty support.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
