Agreed - and this is what I do as well. The Kindle apps (OS X, iPhone, iPad) synchronize books seamlessly, including your page number and bookmark(s). I'd say the only problem is that Kindle eBooks don't tend to be as multimedia-rich as a iBooks are.

Aside from that, I quite enjoy being able to read books across multiple devices (including my iPhone). I pretty much always have a book with me wherever I go. Don't underestimate the zoom/increase text size function in iBooks on your phone. I also recommend switching over to the sephia or white on black modes, which I find reduce eye strain and make it easier to read (in general) on the iPhone. Sure, you're turning pages more frequently, but it makes the smaller screen size more than tolerable.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
