Your life, the lives of other people, and your family's safety and well-being are more important than ANY text. Unless you're a driver by profession, the time you spend in a car is typically a miniscule part of your overall day. So whatever it is, it can wait the 15 minutes till you get to where you're going.

You shut your phone off in the movie theatre, don't you? That's around two hours of "off" time. Surely you can do the same in the car.

I couldn't agree more.

Look at it as an opportunity to correct a bad habit.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
