Maybe if you explained what you mean by "accessing iCloud" ...

I have only my iCloud account on my iPhone (though I have more than one email account on my computer, I just use my iCloud account on my phone).

If I open up mail on my iPhone, I am of course by default in my Inbox. If I tap on the Mailboxes button, I can then choose the Sent mailbox, which shows email sent from the iPhone. If I scroll down, I get to a "Sent" folder which accesses the server, and I can see sent emails that were originally sent from other devices.

Is this different than what you have?
