That's the main storage on your Mac. You have simply filled all the space. You can delete old files and applications to make space or if there's nothing you can delete you need to copy documents/music/video of onto some form of external storage (DVD, CD, USB pen drive, external hard disk etc)

External hard disk acquisition addict - but admitting the problem is the first step to a robust backup
