I probably should have read this post. Funny how you posted this so recently.

Any way, I spilled water on my macbook last night. More specifically, my macbook was on a pool of water, so I imagine it some how seeped in. The point is that I did not directly spill water on it. I turned the machine off and put the side that was exposed to the spill/pool into a bag of rice over night.

Anxious to see if it worked, I successfully powered on this afternoon. It powered on normally with no apparent signs of damage. The screen flickered off after the spill and there was some screen leakage, however that did not occur. I am, in fact, posting off it right now.

Is this okay? Should I be taking additional steps or can I presume everything i fine and I lucked out?
