Without replacing the entire case (unibody is expensive) the only viable way is as suggested above. Keep in mind that aluminum, especially molded and polished aluminum, is very easily scratched and marred. You might want to find a metal worker specialty shop or repair and get an estimate from them to do the smoothing and finishing for you.
