You need to have an AV product on each VM instance. The host will be unaware of the goings-on on those guest OSes. So, each guest VM will need to be able to protect itself.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
