you,re right, the old one must be one from 2008 - it's this one, except mine says it has an intel cpu, and not penryn - but maybe they all do.

t's not integrated, but it can't be interchangeably used. The old one had a PCIe card type one, where as the newer MPB has a smaller chip that connects via 2 clip wires.
The Intel processors were called Penryn because that's what they called the new lineup of Core 2 Duo processors on the newer MacBook Pro's at that time. Now, people reference the old, pre-unibody macbook pro by saying Penryn MBP...
