If it's in JPEG/JPG format, chances are high that it does have the EXIF info still embedded. You could use iPhoto for that, or you could download a third-party viewer that shows that information such as this one (note that it hasn't been updated in a while and may not work under Lion, though I can't see any reason why it wouldn't).
