As I mentioned and predicted, some hacker got Siri "working" on an iPhone 4 -- slow as molasses.

It now appears that Siri is also dependent on a second Apple-branded hardware chip (not the A5) in the iPhone 4S -- some kind of dedicated processor that may or may not have anything to do with Siri, but if it does ... well that explains why we can't get it (yet) on the iPad 2 ...
