Try creating a brand new user, log into that account, and see if the problem continues. If it does not, then something is definitely amiss with the other user account and we may still be able to root it out. If it does continue, then I'm inclined to recommend reinstalling OS X. Well actually before that, try downloading and applying the latest Update Combo for your OS and see if that helps.


Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu). Also advise us if you have any antivirus or "cleaning" software installed on your Mac. If you are using MacKeeper, you are hereby advised to uninstall it.
