If your unlocked iPhone is a GSM model then T-Mobile and the AT&T SIM cards will work. Note, however, that if you use T-Mobile you will be unable to go 3G as their frequencies are different. For GSM and 3G, AT&T is the only choice. AT&T used to have a contract that allowed carry over of used minutes from month to month. I don't know if that's still true. You would have to contact their customer service or go to their web page to find out.
