What is the point of this statement? There are tons of rumors, none of which have been substantiated by Apple - so they mean nothing.

I just ordered my wife the iPhone 4 for this very reason, could still be awhile till we see the iPhone 5. If not, I'll take a hit of a few hundred bucks to do the upgrade.
