I like the idea of all in one place.
But a better plan (IMHO) would be if iOS and Mac OS merged into one hybrid system that could run on either platform. So you download Pages once and can use it on your MBP or on your iPad. I'm not versed in writing apps or anything like that so I have no idea if this is a reasonable wish, but I think it would be pretty cool. It would eliminate the need for a bloated iTunes.
