As far as I know, no current Macbook Pro models will give you problems. That being said, the lower spec you buy, the slower it will be about it. Not troublesome, but slower, and notably so. The general rule is to buy the highest spec you can safely afford Even look in the Refurb Apple store. You might get a higher spec for less money, and they are all like new, and most of all, have the same warranty as brand new machines, and you can still buy the same Applecare for them should you desire it
