Um not too sure as i have never sent a App as a gift. Did a little research and there really isnt much out there.
If the person hasnt received the Gift Email, i would be either ringing or sending a email to the appropriate division and find out what is wrong.
If it came straight out of your Apple iTunes Acct ( $ wise ) then they should have recieved it almost immediately.
It might be a recent problem bc what i found, indicates there are a few others in the WWW that have done this and there friend hasnt received it either. Its the 1st time it has happened to them as well. They have purchased other gift App and hey where received immediately ...
So contact Apple. If you have the receipt from the purchase then they will need the invoice number to confirm the purchase ...
