This arrangement works quite well with the exception of the Open GL problem mentioned in the review. I am not sure if the other devices mentioned above have the same limitations.

That's a pretty neat setup using that OWC USB adapter to hook up a 2nd external monitor to a MBP. $98 bucks is pricey...but then the Matrox products are certainly much pricier!
