I second that suggestion strongly. I think I first read it in a column by Bob "Dr. Mac" Levitus. The idea is to keep that account "clean' by only booting into that account if you are experiencing problems with your main account. If the problem affects more than one user account the culprit is probably something that affects system wide performance.
