You can only use Safari? Really? You can't use Opera for iPhone OS? Pretty sure you can use opera. :-P Plus if you don't see a need to buy one, don't.
By the way? The cat was already let out of the bag. Multitasking works in iphone OS 4. Due for release for the iPad this fall.
