Very good point. I forgot to mention that the first time around and I think this may be causing some grief.

Let me give you an example of the process and hopefully this will clear things up.

Let's say I want to make a hidden folder in my Documents folder called secret. This is how I would do it:Press enter.Press enter. You're secret folder is now made. To get to it, open Finder and push Shift-Command-G. Enter ~/Documents/.secret/.
