iPod speakers buzzing?

Hi, I have had my iPod speaker for about a year and a half now, and they have been working fine the whole time. The worked just as normal this morning and tonight i put ipod on and there is a buzzing sound. Its not my iPod cos when i take it off the sound is still there for a moment. What do I do?
