The 2nd 1/8 Champions League matches are coming this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Let me remind me the results of first 1/8 matches:
Celtic - Barcelona: 2-3
Fenerbahçe - Sevilla: 3-2
Schalke-04 - Porto: 1-0
Roma - Real Madrid: 2-1
Olympiacos - Chelsea: 0-0
Liverpool - Internazionale: 2-0
Lyon - Man. United: 1-1
Arsenal - Milan: 0-0

So who do you think will pass 1/8 stage? Your stakes and forecasts... :Smirk:

My forecast: Barcelona, Sevilla, Porto, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man. United, Milan will go through.

The one who would guess more teams that pass will be the winner! :)

Soccer isn't very popular over here in the US, to be honest. I wish it was though. It is such a fun sport to watch :)

To get through to next round; Barcelona, Porto, Roma (tough one), Chelsea (actually not sure here - but English team...), Liverpool, Man U & Arsenal (I hope).

Favourite UK team; Leeds United. First win under new manager this weekend - if we can pull a run now - we might still get through on play-offs - heck and you never know we might get our 15 points back!

Fav. Premiership Club; Liverpool/Arsenal - I kind of like them both, perhaps prefer Arsenal. That is until Leeds get back to the Premiership of course!

My rules for supporting premiership football:

Support Arsenal against anyone (until Leeds get back).
Liverpool against anyone other than Arsenal :) .
ANY team that is playing against Man United or Fulham (can't stand either team).
If none of the above rules are met then I'll go for the underdog :p (as long as it's not Fulham :Angry-Tongue: )

My congratulations! Fenerbahce has won such a difficult match! Penalty shootouts could only bring the winner to light! :)
Did you win the money? :Smirk:

I know that Americans don't like European football.. I don't really understand why... Maybe because you have your own American sport that you call "football". I wonder why you call it so?? American "football" is mainly played by hands.. :Smirk:

Unfortunately, nay. The bets I made are only for the second leg and not the overall match :( Anyway, another small wager on the Tottenham vs PSV UEFA cup clash tonight. My money's on Tottenham winning by 2 or more goals. It's gonna be interesting ;)

Oops, just heard the score, not quite the result you were looking for.

Do you know when the second leg is?

Spurs seem a bit shakey since they took carling cup, hopefully they'll get it back together soon.

I am a big Internazionale fan, so I'm pulling for them to squeak through at the San Siro. We're hard to beat at home, so we'll at least give the Reds a fight.

I love the sport even though I'm in the US. I download tons of matches and watch them.

Hehe Milan is out! Arsenal deserved to go on. The next stage should be entertaining.
