Each member can post one desktop in this thread each month.
The desktop cannot be larger than 800x600.
Not only will posting inappropriate desktop pictures get them deleted, it will also get you banned. This includes anything semi-lewd. This is a family forum if it's not PG then don't post it.
Feel free to post the source from which you got your wallpapers, themes, icons, UI modifier apps, etc.

Greeting all - new forum member and new Mac user here. I guess it goes without saying but I love my Mac!

This is my March desktop - (excuse my poor photography skills) - Mt Fuji taken from my balcony.

Not a bad pic at all. I'm sure the original looks better than what we can see. Also, considering it's a little difficult to change point of view on an entire mountain if you want to frame the shot differently, it's not bad at all! Did you climb it?

Welcome to the forum!

my mom laughed at my father's amazement, since he's seen thousands and he can't get enough. i have very strong memories of watching lunar eclipes with him as a kid, so i'm sure your boy will remember it. :)

The winter months can be hard on people like me who have classic cars sitting in the garage that want to be taken out on the road and driven. Sure you can go say hello in the garage, but they're only really happy when they're out sunbathing like this. Here's to dreaming of warm summer days:

Here (http://jonasraskdesign.com/downloads/downloads.html) is that iTunes speaker icon. I don't make them, I don't have that kind of talent. Just search for them and download when I see what I like.

All I have is youcontroltunes as well. If you open up the configuration options, there should be a tab for overlay and that controls the little pop up you see at the bottom left corner of my screen.

how did you make your smart folders at the bottom?

It was an ingenious little trick thought up by someone who, like many of us, didn't like the appearance of stacks in our dock. If I could remember where I got it from, I would tell you, but I've forgotten.

The stacks are just regular stacks in Leopard. The bin-looking icons over them are just files with an icon that looks like that. You drop it into the folder you've made the stack out of, and the file is set in a way which makes it always appear in the front of the stack, so it appears as if the icons are sitting in a bin.

Hi Paralex, I noticed on a couple of your desktops that your icons are all color coordinated. The one last month was green and this month grey. How do you do this?

I don't really have all the icons matching, I usually like to mix it up bit still coordinate with the color scheme. I have a big collection of icons, good places to start collecting are: MacThemes, InterfaceLift, IconFactory.

It was. We were actually there last year as well. We go every year around that time. The photo ops around all of the Disney parks are great, but it sure sucks to pack the equipment around with you....

Fun. I'm going there again as well. Will be there April 18 or so at that Louou thing. We take a trip there every year with DECA through my school.
