I still appreciate it, simply because I use a Windows machine all day long at work.

The only thing I miss between the two is expose. I don't know how many times I've come back to work after a weekend just to try and not have all my windows appear on the screen when I move to the upper left hand corner.

You want Expose back? I was not aware it was gone or do you mean something else?

I love Expose and when using an OS without it, I slip and look for it! :D

My initial impression when I got my macbook in the summer of 06 was "wow it looks so cool! And it doesn't slow the machine down one bit!" I remember every lil bit of graphical flair in windows (what lil it has compared to tiger or leopard) would noticeably slow my old windows machine down.

I still appreciate the OSX interface a good 5+ months since buying my iMac. But that is probably contributed to having a windows notebook and using a windows PC at work!

I think its almost a comfort thing. You get used to it and it doesn't stick out or clash.. so its unobtrusive..... I'd notice a nagging inconsistency or something more than something that well... "just works"

If you feel like you have got used to it, hold shift before starting some of the eye candy (such as expose or minimize) :)
