Hi people i can;t get back into "Second Life" it keeps saying i can't access from this Computer ....can anyone help thanks..
someone said you have to change the mac address is this true ????

You can't. The MAC address is tied to your network adapter. Your wired and wireless adapters have different MAC addresses however.

If you've been banned for some reason or another, it's likely an IP ban, but that wouldn't be tied to your MAC address since you could easily just go to another machine, switch NICs or spoof your MAC address. If you were banned, just accept it and move on.

I tried it on another sever and it still don't work there must be something in the computer i even change my IP address
maybe i should move on ? hehehe

I think you confirmed my suspicions. When an administrator imposes an IP ban, it's usually for an entire subnet - which means that any computer you use on the same ISP will be effected.

Yes, you should absolutely move on.

You should have received an email if you were banned. If you were banned, move on. If not, don't give up so easily. There are ways to get back in.
