newbie going nuts - battery stuck on 95%

my MB is one month old.
AC power is on, green light is on, but the battery status in the menu bar says that only 95% of the battery is charged. it also says "battery is not charging".
istat nano says i completed 6 full cycles, but it also says that only 95% of the battery is charged.

now what? :eek:

The battery won't start charging until it is 94% or lower. Let it drop to at least 94% before plugging it back in to get it to charge all the way.

it'll be a long time till i finish paying for this puppy, so i get really stressed over anything.
